Pudendal Nerve Block

A pudendal nerve block is administered through an image-guided procedure that injects a local anesthetic to the pudendal nerve in the pelvic region. This technique is commonly used during obstetric procedures such as vaginal or anorectal surgeries, during the second stage of labor or for the treatment of chronic pelvic pain.
